5 minute Molasses & Chocolate Drop Biscuits

 Tis' the winter season and we're all craving something sweet and sticky in these dark, cold winter evenings. So why not make a yummy treat slightly healthier and a little more guilt free with these 100% natural, refined sugar free, flour free, minimal ingredient, super easy and quick to make plant based vegan cookies!!!

They have a sticky cinder toffee taste, topped with gooey melted chocolate.Still not convinced?They take 5 minutes to prepare and around 30 minutes to bake.. and they're a hit with everyone who tries them ;) 

 

 

Ingredients

3/4C rolled oats 

3/4C almond meal

2 tbsp molasses

4.5tbsp coconut sugar

1 tbsp flaxseed

1tsp baking powder

1 banana

A few chunks of dark chocolate bar 

 

Method

Set your oven to 180C OR 350F - depending where your from.

Add all the ingredients (except the dark chocolate bar) to a blender 

Blend until well combined

Scoop tbsp size amounts of the mixture onto a silicone baking sheet and put a small chunk of chocolate on top.

Put them in the oven and bake until they are firm but not too solid... approx 25 minutes.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool before snacking.

Voila!
